As many of you know, I've been in the hectic process of moving from North Florida to Virginia Beach. I lived here eight years ago and always loved it. When my husband was offered a great opportunity, we decided to snag it since I work from home and I can move my base operations anywhere. We had several delays in moving due to that
lil hussy Irene, but we finally arrived this week and are in the slow process of unpacking in our new home and getting settled in. Although I'd love to continue walking down memory lane of my honeymoon in Italy two years ago, it's probably best that I share current pictures...

My husband's 1969 Chevelle...we love, love this car. |
1. HOT car.
ReplyDelete2. I LOVE South of the Border. Did you pose with any of the funny statues?
Juju at Tales of Whismy.com - The car is a dream, so much fun to drive it. Granted, it was on the car trailer and we were pulling it - I don't know if my husband would have wanted to drive 10 hours in the Chevelle! :) We didn't take any pics with the statues because we were so tired - bathroom breaks only and then I got bored so was taking quick shots! Next time :)
ReplyDeleteDamn I love that car. I can't think of a better way to drive to a new home and new adventure. Are you still coming to SIBA?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the move. Glad it's after Irene and not during!
ReplyDeleteOh, that car reels me back into a nostalgic time! Since none of the other images in the photo with the car tell us about what time period you're in, you could almost be back in the sixties!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

How exciting to move to a place you love!
ReplyDeleteI hope the settling in is going smoothly! It must be nice to have finally moved. Living in moving limbo is tough.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything goes smoothly with your move. Atleast it's fun to be on the road and enjoy the scenery. I love that car!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I hope the unpacking and settling in goes well.
ReplyDeleteA Chevelle?! You can't find many of those anymore. An old friend of mine had one in Philadelphia Flyers orange. It was so shiny you would slide off it. Glad you made it to your new home safe and sound :)
